Character Creation

Character creation for RoF Spacemaster: The Expanse (v0.2)

• STEP 1: Roll physical and mental stats as per the standard SPACEMASTER rules (10 rolls of D100 percentile - re-roll anything under 20)
• STEP 2: Choose an Expanse race and note down racial abilities and free skills.
• STEP 3: Expend Racial Background Options and note down Special Bonuses (SKILLS, ITEMS, BACKGROUND or WEALTH)
• STEP 4: Choose Profession and allocate stats as appropriate. Remember you can dump two of your lowest rolls into your classes prime requistes and these get bumped up to 90 (nice way of getting rid of two bad rolls)
• STEP 5: Roll potentials for allocated stats.
• STEP 6: Allocate skill points as per the standard SPACEMASTER rules (Adolescence and Apprentice Skill Development). The free racial skills are in addition to these.
• STEP 7: Select hobbies (4 additional skills ranks in any 1 skill and 2 additional skill ranks in another 1 skill)
• STEP 8: Finish off character generation as per the standard SPACEMASTER rules (roll hit points, appearance, free items (1 Weapon, 2 Magazines, Clothes, Light Coat, Holster & Personal Terminal), starting money (50 + 1D100 credits), etc)
• STEP 9: Buy equipment with funds available.
